Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary advocate for assigned transportation investment portfolios, demonstrating intimate knowledge equivalent to that of a Portfolio Manager
• Develop and maintain deep relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional clients interested in transportation sector opportunities
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis on transportation trends, including emerging technologies like electric vehicles and autonomous logistics
• Prepare and deliver compelling investment proposals, presentations, and reports tailored to client needs and risk profiles
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, research analysts, and sales teams to optimize portfolio performance and client satisfaction
• Monitor portfolio performance metrics, regulatory compliance, and risk factors specific to transportation investments
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transportation investment space to grow assets under management
• Provide strategic advice on portfolio allocation, diversification, and rebalancing in line with JP Morgan Chase's investment philosophy
• Participate in industry conferences, client meetings, and internal strategy sessions to represent JP Morgan Asset Management
• Ensure all client interactions adhere to JP Morgan's ethical standards and compliance protocols

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in asset management, investment advisory, or portfolio management within the financial services industry
• Deep expertise in transportation sector investments, including infrastructure, logistics, aviation, and rail industries
• Proven track record of representing and promoting investment portfolios to high-net-worth clients or institutional investors
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in asset management, such as SEC guidelines and fiduciary standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies
• Series 7 and Series 63 licenses or equivalent FINRA registrations required

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation or equivalent certification
• Experience working at a leading global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Prior role in client-facing positions within transportation-focused investment funds
• Advanced knowledge of sustainable and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing in transportation
