Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process complex corporate actions, dividends, and restructurings for client portfolios
  • Perform daily reconciliation of asset positions and cash balances to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with global teams to resolve exceptions and discrepancies in asset servicing operations
  • Analyze and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times
  • Provide client support by delivering timely reports and responding to inquiries on asset events
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls in all servicing activities
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for asset servicing metrics
  • Participate in system testing and implementation of new tools for asset management
  • Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies for operational workflows
  • Foster client relationships by offering proactive solutions to servicing challenges

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in asset servicing, custody operations, or financial services operations
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, and derivatives
  • Proficiency in regulatory requirements including SEC, FATCA, and MiFID II
  • Experience with data management and reconciliation processes in a banking environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operational setting
  • Basic knowledge of risk management principles in asset servicing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CFA Level 1 or equivalent in financial operations
  • Experience with JP Morgan's internal systems or similar asset servicing platforms like SWIFT or Calypso
  • Prior exposure to corporate actions processing and event management
  • Familiarity with Indian financial regulations and SEBI guidelines
  • Demonstrated project management experience in process optimization initiatives

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of SQL for querying financial databases
  • Understanding of asset servicing platforms like Bloomberg or Reuters
