In this position, you will be responsible for processing and monitoring a wide range of corporate actions such as mergers, acquisitions, dividends, and rights issues, while also managing income events like interest and dividend payments. You'll perform reconciliations, ensure regulatory compliance with standards like SEC and MiFID II, and collaborate with international teams to resolve any servicing discrepancies. Leveraging JP Morgan's advanced technology platforms, you'll analyze operational data to drive process improvements and mitigate risks, all while maintaining the high standards of accuracy and timeliness that define our firm. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process corporate actions including mergers, dividends, and stock splits for a diverse portfolio of global securities
  • Monitor and manage income events such as interest payments and coupon distributions to ensure timely and accurate client reporting
  • Perform daily reconciliations of asset positions and cash flows using JP Morgan's internal systems
  • Collaborate with global teams to resolve discrepancies in securities servicing and escalate issues to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal JP Morgan policies for asset servicing activities
  • Analyze and report on operational metrics to support risk management and process improvements
  • Liaise with custodians, brokers, and clients to facilitate smooth execution of servicing events
  • Contribute to the development and testing of new tools or enhancements in asset servicing platforms
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes in line with JP Morgan's standards
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to asset servicing optimization in the Bengaluru operations hub

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in asset servicing, corporate actions, or securities operations within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of global securities markets, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives
  • Proficiency in financial regulations such as SEC, MiFID II, and EMIR
  • Experience with reconciliation processes and data management in a banking environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operational setting
  • Fluency in English; additional languages like Hindi or regional Indian languages are advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CFA Level 1 or equivalent in financial operations
  • Prior experience at a global investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of JP Morgan's proprietary systems or similar platforms like Bloomberg or SWIFT
