Key Responsibilities

  • Process and validate daily transactions for asset servicing, including settlements, payments, and corporate actions
  • Resolve exceptions related to COAC events such as mergers, dividends, and stock splits for client portfolios
  • Handle income processing, including interest, dividends, and coupon payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as trade operations, compliance, and client services to mitigate risks
  • Perform reconciliations between internal records and external custodians or counterparties
  • Monitor and report on service level agreements (SLAs) for asset servicing activities
  • Support ad-hoc queries from clients and stakeholders regarding portfolio servicing
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with JPMorgan Chase policies and global regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all processed transactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in asset servicing, custody operations, or financial transaction processing
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, and derivatives
  • Proficiency in handling corporate actions (COAC) and income processing in a banking environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in asset servicing, including SEC, FATCA, and local Indian regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume transaction environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JP Morgan Chase systems or similar custody platforms like BOSS or Global One
  • Certification in financial services such as CFA Level 1 or CTS (Corporate Trust Specialist)
  • Prior exposure to exception resolution in asset management or investment banking
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messaging and reconciliation processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
