Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage corporate actions for client portfolios in Wealth Management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations
  • Monitor daily corporate action announcements from exchanges and counterparties, and communicate impacts to stakeholders
  • Execute voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, including elections, instructions, and settlements, within strict deadlines
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies in asset records
  • Collaborate with global teams to support operational excellence and drive process improvements in asset servicing
  • Generate reports on corporate action activities and provide analytical insights to senior management
  • Ensure adherence to risk management protocols and contribute to audit readiness
  • Assist in training junior team members and maintaining documentation for operational procedures
  • Identify and escalate potential issues related to corporate actions that could impact client assets
  • Support system enhancements and testing for new corporate action processing tools

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in asset servicing, corporate actions processing, or operations within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of corporate actions such as dividends, mergers, stock splits, and rights offerings
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools used in asset management
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Wealth Management operations at a major financial institution
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for corporate actions in international markets
  • Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase's internal systems and processes
  • Certification in financial operations, such as from the Securities Industry Association
  • Prior exposure to data reconciliation and exception management in asset servicing
