Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance business resiliency frameworks to ensure operational stability across Asset & Wealth Management divisions in Hong Kong
  • Conduct risk assessments and scenario planning to identify vulnerabilities in business processes and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to integrate resiliency measures into strategic planning and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Lead the creation and testing of business continuity plans, including tabletop exercises and full-scale simulations
  • Monitor regulatory changes from HKMA and global bodies, ensuring compliance and updating resiliency policies accordingly
  • Provide expert insights and reporting on resiliency metrics to senior management to drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with technology and operations teams to bolster IT and cyber resiliency in wealth management platforms
  • Facilitate training programs and awareness initiatives for employees on business resiliency best practices
  • Analyze post-incident reviews to refine processes and enhance overall efficiency in the face of disruptions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business continuity, operational resilience, or risk management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing resiliency strategies for asset and wealth management operations
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as those from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Basel frameworks
  • Experience in crisis management and incident response planning in a high-stakes financial environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate operational risks
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin as an advantage for stakeholder communication in Hong Kong

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Risk Management) from a recognized institution
