Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for discretionary accounts control initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk management standards
• Partner with Asset & Wealth Management teams, including front office, operations, and compliance, to identify and implement transformative solutions
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets to drive operational efficiency and mitigate risks in discretionary trading and account management
• Conduct risk assessments and control testing for discretionary portfolios, recommending enhancements to policies and procedures
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement across JP Morgan Chase's global network to ensure seamless integration of new controls and technologies
• Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions to deliver on-time and within scope
• Collaborate with technology teams to integrate automation tools for account reconciliation and reporting in wealth management operations
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on project outcomes, risk metrics, and business impact for senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with internal JP Morgan policies and external regulations, including documentation and audit support
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the Operating Risk & Control Management group

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management within financial services, with a focus on asset and wealth management operations
• Proven track record in managing discretionary accounts and implementing risk management controls in a banking environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as SEC, FINRA, and OCC guidelines applicable to wealth management
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in large-scale business transformation projects
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Columbus, OH, with occasional travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase, with exposure to Asset & Wealth Management divisions
• Knowledge of discretionary portfolio management systems and tools such as Aladdin or Charles River
• Prior involvement in operational risk assessments and control enhancements for high-net-worth client accounts

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certification
