Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of asset and wealth management operations, including portfolio management, investment advisory, and custody services
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Identify potential risks, control deficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements to mitigate financial exposures
  • Collaborate with business leaders in Asset & Wealth Management to develop audit plans and execute fieldwork
  • Perform data analysis using tools like ACL or Tableau to support audit findings in a high-volume financial environment
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and audit committees
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in global wealth management
  • Support ad-hoc audits and special projects related to JPMorgan Chase's innovative financial products
  • Mentor junior auditors and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit function

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management within the financial services industry
  • Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of asset and wealth management products, including mutual funds, alternative investments, and portfolio management
  • Proficiency in audit methodologies and regulatory compliance standards like SOX, Basel III, and SEC requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess financial risks and controls
  • Willingness to work in Mumbai, India, and adhere to a hybrid work model
