Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with over 20,000 middle-market government clients nationwide, providing tailored financial solutions
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet client needs in areas like lending, cash management, and investment services
  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare credit proposals for government entities, ensuring compliance with JPMorgan Chase risk policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including treasury services and capital markets, to deliver comprehensive banking solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities within the government sector and contribute to revenue targets
  • Monitor portfolio performance, mitigate risks, and provide ongoing advisory support to clients
  • Participate in industry events and networking to enhance JPMorgan Chase's presence in government banking
  • Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) protocols
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on client portfolio health and market trends

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or government sector financing
  • Proven track record in managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth in financial services
  • Strong understanding of government banking regulations, including compliance with federal and state guidelines
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and risk assessment
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings and industry events
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) in Finance or Public Administration
  • Experience working with public sector entities such as municipalities, school districts, or state agencies
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Chase's internal systems and treasury management solutions
