Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with early-stage technology clients across the United States, providing tailored financial solutions to support their growth
  • Originate new business opportunities by identifying potential tech clients and pitching JP Morgan Chase's banking products
  • Conduct financial analysis, including credit assessments and risk evaluations, to recommend appropriate lending and advisory services
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as credit risk, treasury services, and investment banking to deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Monitor client portfolios, ensuring compliance with lending agreements and identifying opportunities for cross-selling additional services
  • Participate in industry events, networking with tech entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to expand JP Morgan Chase's market presence
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on client performance and market trends in the technology sector
  • Advise clients on capital structure optimization, cash management, and strategic financing options
  • Ensure all activities adhere to JP Morgan Chase's risk management policies and regulatory standards
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team goals in the Technology Banking division

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or financial services, with a focus on technology sector clients
  • Proven track record in originating and managing client relationships in early-stage technology companies
  • Strong understanding of financial products including loans, lines of credit, and treasury services
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and credit analysis
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings and industry events
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Technology Management
