Key Responsibilities

  • Execute independent testing of compliance and operational risk controls to identify gaps and ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with business units, control owners, and senior management to assess risk environments and recommend enhancements
  • Develop and maintain testing methodologies, including sampling techniques and scenario-based assessments tailored to financial services operations
  • Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes, including findings, root causes, and remediation plans for presentation to risk committees
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and validate their effectiveness through follow-up testing
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes and industry best practices to refine testing programs
  • Support the integration of technology solutions for efficient risk testing and data analytics within JP Morgan's global framework
  • Contribute to training initiatives for junior team members on compliance testing standards
  • Participate in audits and regulatory examinations, providing insights on operational risk controls

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, or internal audit within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, or RBI guidelines applicable to banking operations
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and control testing procedures
  • Experience with data analysis tools and reporting in a compliance or risk management context
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams across global locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Prior experience in a Big Four consulting firm or major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
