Key Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end testing of compliance and operational risk controls, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
  • Identify and assess potential risks in business processes, recommending enhancements to mitigate exposures
  • Collaborate with business units, compliance teams, and senior management to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain testing methodologies, templates, and documentation aligned with JP Morgan's risk framework
  • Analyze testing results to provide actionable insights and support remediation efforts
  • Monitor emerging regulatory changes and their impact on JP Morgan's operations in India and globally
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the control environment through training and knowledge sharing
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership on testing outcomes and risk trends
  • Support audit and regulatory examinations by providing evidence of control effectiveness

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, or internal audit within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, or RBI guidelines relevant to banking operations
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and control testing procedures
  • Experience with data analysis tools and reporting in a compliance environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams across global locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CRISC, CIA, or CISA
  • Prior experience in a Big Four consulting firm or major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC compliance and operational risk management in investment banking
  • Familiarity with JP Morgan's internal risk management systems and tools
