Key Responsibilities

  • Execute independent testing of compliance and operational risk controls across JP Morgan Chase's business lines
  • Identify and assess potential risks in operational processes, recommending enhancements to mitigate exposures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, and Business Operations to ensure robust control environments
  • Prepare detailed testing reports and present findings to senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update testing programs to align with evolving standards in the financial services sector
  • Support the development and implementation of risk management policies specific to JP Morgan's global operations
  • Conduct root cause analysis on control deficiencies and track remediation efforts
  • Contribute to training initiatives on compliance and risk testing best practices
  • Utilize data analytics to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of testing procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, or internal audit within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and local Indian regulations like RBI guidelines
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and control testing procedures
  • Experience with data analysis tools and reporting in a banking environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CRISC, CIA, or CISA
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
