Key Responsibilities

  • Execute independent testing of compliance and operational risk controls to identify gaps and ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase policies
  • Develop and maintain testing methodologies, including sampling techniques and scenario-based assessments tailored to financial services risks
  • Collaborate with business units, compliance teams, and senior management to remediate identified issues and enhance control environments
  • Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes, including risk ratings and recommendations for mitigation strategies
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update testing programs to align with evolving standards in the banking sector
  • Conduct root cause analysis on control failures and support the implementation of corrective actions
  • Participate in risk assessments and provide input on control design for new products or processes at JP Morgan Chase
  • Ensure documentation of all testing activities complies with internal audit standards and regulatory requirements
  • Train junior team members on compliance testing best practices and risk management principles

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, or internal audit within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and local Indian regulations like RBI guidelines
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and control testing procedures
  • Experience with data analysis tools and reporting in a banking environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams across global locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)
