Key Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding of new data sources into operational risk platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with JP Morgan Chase standards
  • Maintain and update metadata repositories for risk data, including validation and quality checks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across lines of business to gather requirements for data management needs
  • Monitor and resolve data discrepancies in risk platforms to mitigate operational risks
  • Assist in the implementation of data governance policies within the metadata management team
  • Conduct regular audits of data flows and metadata to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Develop and document processes for efficient data maintenance and onboarding

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data management, metadata handling, or operational risk systems in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of data onboarding processes and data governance principles
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management tools
  • Experience with risk management platforms or compliance systems in a banking environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated financial services setting
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced degree or certifications in data management (e.g., CDMP) or financial risk (e.g., FRM)
