Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks, mitigate information barriers, and enhance platform scalability in JP Morgan's trading and advisory operations
  • Monitor platform performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on features to support efficient controls room operations
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's risk management standards and contribute to regulatory reporting requirements
  • Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in product ownership within the financial services context
  • Analyze emerging regulatory trends and integrate them into product strategy to maintain JP Morgan's leadership in risk technology

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, risk management, or controls within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in leading Agile teams and delivering risk or compliance platforms
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, MiFID II, or similar in financial markets
  • Experience with data privacy and information barriers in investment banking environments
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, compliance, and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like FRM or PMP
  • Prior experience at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase in controls or risk technology
