Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and validate accurate data for daily, monthly, and quarterly COREP reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Perform data reconciliation, analysis, and quality checks to maintain integrity of financial reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk, finance, and technology to gather and process reporting inputs
  • Monitor regulatory changes related to COREP and implement updates to reporting processes at JP Morgan Chase
  • Develop and maintain documentation for reporting procedures and controls
  • Support internal and external audits by providing detailed reporting data and explanations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in COREP reporting workflows
  • Ensure timely submission of reports to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders
  • Analyze variances in financial data and provide insights to senior management
  • Contribute to the monthly close process by integrating COREP requirements with general ledger activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, or controller functions within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of COREP reporting requirements under Basel III and European regulatory frameworks
  • Proficiency in financial data analysis and reconciliation processes
  • Experience with large-scale data management and reporting systems in a global financial institution
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or CFA (or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or related discipline
  • Prior experience at a major global bank like JP Morgan Chase in regulatory reporting roles
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
  • Familiarity with automation tools for financial reporting
