Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage international regulatory reports for firmwide operations, ensuring compliance with global standards like IFRS and US GAAP
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and variance reporting to support decision-making across JP Morgan Chase's international entities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk, and compliance, to gather and validate data for accurate reporting
  • Monitor and implement changes in regulatory requirements, updating reporting processes accordingly
  • Perform reconciliations and audits of financial statements to maintain data integrity and regulatory adherence
  • Develop and maintain documentation for reporting procedures, including process flows and control frameworks
  • Support ad-hoc reporting needs and contribute to quarterly and annual financial closings
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in reporting using tools like Alteryx or SQL
  • Ensure timely submission of reports to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders
  • Assist in training junior team members on reporting standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, or accounting within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of international regulatory frameworks such as IFRS, US GAAP, and Basel regulations
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools, with experience in managing large-scale data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling complex financial data
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus for international reporting

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or professional certification like CFA
