Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile leveraged loan transactions, including settlements, payments, and interest accruals for global fund clients
  • Support the onboarding of new bank loan facilities, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with fund servicing agreements
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in loan data, collaborating with internal teams and external custodians
  • Prepare and analyze reports on loan portfolio performance, NAV calculations, and risk metrics for fund managers
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency in bank debt servicing
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management policies and regulatory standards in all operations
  • Liaise with sales, trading, and client service teams to provide timely support on loan-related inquiries
  • Contribute to month-end and quarter-end closings by validating loan positions and generating required disclosures
  • Participate in training and knowledge sharing sessions to maintain team expertise in evolving loan market dynamics
  • Handle ad-hoc projects related to system enhancements or client-specific fund servicing needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fund services, banking, or financial operations, with exposure to leveraged loans or syndicated loans
  • Strong understanding of bank debt instruments, loan syndication processes, and fund accounting principles
  • Proficiency in financial reconciliation and data analysis within a high-volume transaction environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SEC, OCC, or Basel III as they apply to fund servicing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting with attention to detail
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JP Morgan Chase systems or similar enterprise financial platforms
  • Certification in finance such as CFA Level I or CPA
  • Prior involvement in global fund services or middle/back-office operations for alternative investments
  • Familiarity with loan servicing software like Loan IQ or MarkitWire
  • Advanced Excel skills including VBA for automation
