Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for fund servicing, including trade processing, reconciliations, and NAV computations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to resolve operational issues and enhance service delivery
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies in fund administration
  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements within the Global Fund Services team
  • Support client onboarding and ongoing servicing for mutual funds, hedge funds, and alternative investments
  • Manage risk assessments and control procedures to mitigate operational risks in fund servicing activities
  • Contribute to team projects aimed at driving innovation in fund operations at JP Morgan Chase
  • Provide training and guidance to junior associates on operational best practices
  • Liaise with technology teams to integrate new tools and automate fund servicing workflows
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management on key performance metrics in fund operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fund services operations or financial services
  • Strong understanding of mutual funds, hedge funds, or alternative investment structures
  • Proficiency in regulatory requirements such as SEC, FINRA, and global fund servicing standards
  • Experience with operational processes including NAV calculations, trade settlements, and reconciliations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships in a high-volume operations environment
  • Availability to work in Boston, MA, with potential for hybrid or on-site requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CFA, FRM, or Series 7/63 licenses
  • Experience with JP Morgan Chase systems or similar financial platforms like Aladdin or Charles River
  • Prior exposure to global fund servicing across multiple jurisdictions
  • Background in process improvement or Lean Six Sigma methodologies
