As an Associate II in Prime Client Operations, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our institutional clients, ensuring smooth execution of prime brokerage activities while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. In this position, you will act as a key liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, handling everything from transaction processing and reconciliation to issue resolution and reporting. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring client portfolios for risks, facilitating margin and collateral movements, and contributing to process enhancements that drive operational efficiency. Leveraging your knowledge of financial markets and regulatory frameworks, you will help mitigate operational risks and support the growth of our prime services business. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prime brokerage clients, addressing inquiries and resolving operational issues promptly
  • Process and reconcile client transactions, including trade settlements, margin calls, and collateral management
  • Monitor client accounts for compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as trading, risk, and compliance to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Analyze client data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
  • Prepare and distribute client reports on portfolio performance, exposures, and operational metrics
  • Assist in onboarding new clients, including documentation review and system setup
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency in the prime services group
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with JPMorgan Chase's audit requirements
  • Escalate complex issues to senior management while providing detailed analysis and recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably in prime brokerage or client servicing
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, securities, and regulatory requirements such as SEC and FINRA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel for data analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex client issues
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in prime client operations or middle office functions at a major financial institution
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Chase systems and processes, such as internal trading platforms
  • Familiarity with risk management and compliance in the investment banking sector
  • Certification such as Series 7 or Series 99
  • Previous exposure to international markets and cross-border client servicing
