Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain statistical models for credit loss forecasting and loan loss reserve calculations for Chase credit cards
  • Provide analytical oversight on the production of monthly and quarterly loss forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with model validation teams to review and enhance forecasting methodologies
  • Analyze portfolio performance data to identify trends in credit risk and delinquency rates

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit risk modeling, analytics, or forecasting within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling techniques and credit loss forecasting methodologies
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as CECL (Current Expected Credit Loss) for loan loss reserves
  • Experience with large datasets and data manipulation in a banking or credit card environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA in Finance, Risk Management, or a quantitative discipline
