Key Responsibilities

  • Engage clients in the 17th & JFK Branch to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate JPMorgan Chase products like checking accounts, credit cards, and mortgages
  • Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers while ensuring accuracy and security
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention and referrals in the Philadelphia market
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling banking solutions and meet or exceed sales goals
  • Provide exceptional hospitality by greeting clients warmly and resolving inquiries promptly
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools, such as the Chase Mobile app and online platforms
  • Collaborate with branch team members to support community events and financial literacy initiatives
  • Adhere to all compliance protocols, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
  • Assist in branch operations, including opening and closing procedures and cash handling
  • Monitor client accounts for potential issues and escalate to senior bankers as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, and digital banking tools
  • Ability to obtain necessary state and federal banking licenses within 90 days of hire
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and core banking software
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
  • Commitment to ethical standards and compliance with federal banking regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a JPMorgan Chase branch or similar high-volume retail environment
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, given Philadelphia's diverse community
  • Knowledge of credit products and small business lending
