Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement strategy for contingent workforce across APAC, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of temporary staff, contractors, and consultants
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including supplier selection, RFPs, negotiations, and contract execution in compliance with JP Morgan Chase policies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in finance, HR, and technology teams to align procurement needs with business objectives in the financial services sector
  • Monitor supplier performance, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as SOX and GDPR
  • Drive cost savings initiatives through vendor consolidation and strategic sourcing in APAC markets
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships to support JP Morgan's global operations and innovation in financial products
  • Analyze procurement data to provide insights on spend management and market trends in the banking industry
  • Implement best practices for contingent workforce management, including onboarding, compliance tracking, and offboarding
  • Support diversity and inclusion goals by sourcing from diverse suppliers in the APAC region
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes using digital tools and analytics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contingent workforce management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in managing procurement processes for APAC regions, including vendor negotiations and contract management
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial services, such as AML, KYC, and data privacy standards
  • Experience with procurement software and tools like SAP Ariba or Oracle Procurement Cloud
  • Ability to travel within APAC as needed for vendor meetings and site visits
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other APAC languages is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain or Finance
  • Certification in procurement such as CIPS or CPSM
  • Prior experience working in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
