Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end quality reviews of Third-Party Risk Assessments to ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase standards and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the execution of third-party assessments, including due diligence, risk identification, and mitigation planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate vendor performance and ongoing risk exposure in financial services operations
  • Develop and maintain documentation for assessment processes, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness
  • Monitor third-party relationships for emerging risks, such as geopolitical or operational disruptions impacting banking services
  • Provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies for third-party engagements
  • Support the implementation of controls and procedures to enhance third-party oversight within the Operating Risk & Control Management framework
  • Participate in training and awareness programs on third-party risk best practices for JP Morgan teams
  • Analyze assessment data to identify trends and improve the efficiency of the risk review process

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in third-party risk management, vendor assessments, or operational risk in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as OCC, FDIC, and Basel III guidelines related to third-party oversight
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and tools used in banking environments
  • Experience with end-to-end review processes for third-party engagements
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify potential risks in financial partnerships
  • Certification in risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISA) or equivalent
