Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the annual audit plan for Connected Commerce and Consumer Community Banking Strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk priorities
  • Manage end-to-end audit engagements, from planning and scoping to reporting and follow-up
  • Oversee testing of controls related to digital commerce, consumer banking strategies, and technology integrations
  • Lead and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance on methodologies and best practices
  • Collaborate with business leaders in Consumer & Community Banking to assess risks and control effectiveness
  • Participate in applicable control forums, governance committees, and regulatory discussions at JP Morgan Chase
  • Identify emerging risks in connected commerce ecosystems, such as fintech partnerships and payment innovations
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and the Audit Committee
  • Drive continuous improvement in audit processes, incorporating data analytics and automation tools
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards throughout audit activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or compliance within the financial services industry
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CRISC
  • Proven experience in auditing technology-enabled processes, particularly in commerce and consumer banking strategies
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements including SOX, GDPR, and banking regulations from OCC and FDIC
  • Demonstrated ability to lead audit teams and manage multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or equivalent experience
