Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable next-generation platforms using AWS, Databricks, Python, and PySpark to handle large-scale financial data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define platform requirements
• Implement data pipelines and ETL processes optimized for financial datasets, ensuring data integrity and performance
• Integrate machine learning models into platforms to support advanced financial analytics and risk assessment
• Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for cost-efficiency and reliability in processing sensitive financial information
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards compliant with JPMorgan Chase's security protocols
• Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance, addressing issues related to data volume and latency in real-time trading environments
• Contribute to innovation in financial data technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes
• Document platform architectures and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the engineering team
• Support deployment and maintenance of platforms in production, ensuring seamless integration with JPMorgan's core banking systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on cloud platforms and big data technologies
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing and analytics
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS cloud services
• Strong understanding of financial data systems and regulatory compliance in the banking sector
• Experience in designing scalable platforms for high-volume financial data handling
• Ability to collaborate in agile teams within a fast-paced financial services environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JPMorgan Chase's internal data platforms or similar enterprise financial systems
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks integrated with Databricks
