Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with emerging middle market clients in the Bloomfield Hills region, providing tailored banking solutions
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and credit assessments to support lending decisions and portfolio management
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit risk, treasury services, and investment banking, to deliver integrated financial solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial banking segment, focusing on companies with revenues between $10M and $500M
  • Monitor client portfolios for performance, risks, and compliance with JP Morgan Chase policies and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and present financial proposals, pitches, and reports to clients and senior management
  • Drive revenue growth through cross-selling of products like cash management, trade finance, and foreign exchange services
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape to advise clients effectively
  • Ensure all activities adhere to ethical standards and JP Morgan Chase's commitment to responsible banking
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team goals in the Commercial Banking division

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or financial services
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships within the middle market segment
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, lending products, and risk management in commercial banking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet regulatory compliance standards
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Bloomfield Hills, MI area
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent certifications preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience working with emerging middle market companies in the automotive, manufacturing, or technology sectors
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
