Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with emerging middle market clients, providing tailored banking and financial solutions
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and credit underwriting to support client financing needs
• Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, treasury, and capital markets, to deliver integrated solutions
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the San Diego market to grow the client portfolio
• Monitor client portfolios for performance, risks, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Advise clients on cash management, lending products, and strategic financial planning
• Prepare and present business plans, proposals, and reports to senior management and clients
• Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management policies and ethical standards
• Participate in community and industry events to enhance JP Morgan's brand presence in the region
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or financial services
• Proven track record in managing client relationships within the middle market segment
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment
• Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build long-term client partnerships
• Proficiency in financial software and tools used in commercial banking

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related field
• Experience working with emerging middle market companies in the San Diego region
• Knowledge of industry-specific trends in technology, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors
• Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, to serve diverse client bases in California
