Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with emerging middle market clients, providing tailored banking and financial solutions
  • Conduct financial analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessments for client portfolios
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including credit, treasury, and capital markets to deliver comprehensive services
  • Identify business development opportunities and grow revenue through new client acquisitions and expansions
  • Monitor client performance, market trends, and economic conditions to advise on strategic financial decisions
  • Prepare and present credit proposals, loan structures, and financing options to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
  • Support client onboarding, portfolio management, and ongoing advisory services
  • Participate in community and industry events to enhance JP Morgan Chase's presence in Washington, DC
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team goals in the Commercial Banking division

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or financial services
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships within middle market or emerging companies
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience in the emerging middle market segment, particularly with companies in growth phases
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in commercial banking (e.g., Dodd-Frank, Basel III)
