Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing market trends and financial data to support front office teams in investment banking and sales & trading
  • Conduct research on Brazilian and global economic indicators impacting client portfolios
  • Support the preparation of pitch books, client presentations, and deal documentation
  • Collaborate with senior analysts on valuation models and risk assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising
  • Participate in client meetings and calls to gain exposure to deal execution processes
  • Monitor and report on equity, fixed income, or derivatives markets relevant to Latin America
  • Contribute to team projects involving sustainable finance initiatives in emerging markets
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements during all activities
  • Shadow experienced professionals to learn about front office operations at JP Morgan Chase

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in Brazil for the duration of the internship
  • Proficiency in English; Portuguese fluency is highly advantageous

  • Available for a full-time summer internship in Sao Paulo, typically 8-12 weeks
