Key Responsibilities

  • Support Business Heads and Corporate Banking teams in India by providing strategic insights, performance analysis, and operational recommendations to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business plans, including market expansion strategies and product enhancements tailored to the Indian market
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's global standards and local regulations
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination between front-office, middle-office, and back-office teams to optimize processes and enhance efficiency
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decision-making and support new business opportunities in corporate banking
  • Manage stakeholder communications, including reporting to regional and global executives on business performance and initiatives
  • Lead ad-hoc projects such as digital banking implementations, regulatory change management, or client portfolio reviews
  • Foster a culture of innovation and risk awareness within the team, aligning with JP Morgan Chase's commitment to responsible banking
  • Assist in talent development by mentoring junior staff and contributing to recruitment efforts for the India GCB team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business management, strategy, or operations within the financial services industry, with a focus on corporate banking
  • Proven track record of supporting senior business leaders in a high-stakes banking environment
  • Strong understanding of the Indian financial market, regulatory landscape, and global banking operations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis
