Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, acquire, and manage a portfolio of small business clients in the South Bend, IN area, delivering tailored financial solutions
  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate JPMorgan Chase products such as business checking, loans, merchant services, and cash management
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with business owners to drive revenue growth and client retention
  • Analyze client financial data to assess creditworthiness and structure financing solutions compliant with bank policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit analysts and product specialists, to deliver seamless client experiences
  • Participate in local networking events, community outreach, and business development activities to expand market presence
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify cross-sell opportunities, and mitigate risks through proactive client engagement
  • Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML and fair lending practices
  • Utilize CRM tools and digital platforms to track client interactions and report on business development metrics
  • Provide exceptional customer service to support over 3 million small businesses nationwide with innovative banking solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, commercial banking, or small business lending
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships in a sales or advisory capacity
  • Strong understanding of small business financial products, including loans, credit lines, and treasury services
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and credit risk for small business clients
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the South Bend, IN market
  • Series 6 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • 3+ years of experience in relationship management at a major financial institution
  • Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's commercial banking products and digital platforms
  • Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, to serve diverse small business communities
