Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, acquire, and onboard new small business clients in the Tempe, AZ market, focusing on businesses with annual revenues of $1-50 million
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with business owners, providing tailored financial solutions including loans, lines of credit, and treasury services
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments and recommend JP Morgan Chase products to drive revenue growth and client retention
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as credit underwriters and product specialists to structure deals and mitigate risks
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify cross-sell opportunities, and ensure compliance with banking regulations
  • Develop and execute localized marketing strategies to expand JP Morgan Chase's small business footprint in Arizona
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform acquisition strategies
  • Prepare and present business reviews to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and growth initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, or relationship management within the financial services industry

  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance in small business lending
  • Experience with CRM systems and financial modeling tools used in banking
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within the assigned territory
  • Active Series 6 or 7 license, or willingness to obtain within 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • 7+ years in small business acquisition at a top-tier bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or another language spoken in the Southwest region
  • Experience with digital banking platforms and fintech integrations
