Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, acquire, and onboard new small business clients to expand JP Morgan Chase's portfolio nationwide
  • Conduct in-depth financial needs assessments to recommend tailored banking solutions such as commercial loans, merchant services, and cash management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, providing ongoing advisory support to drive client retention and growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams including credit analysts, product specialists, and compliance to ensure seamless deal execution
  • Develop and execute targeted acquisition strategies in the Clayton, MO market and surrounding regions
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for JP Morgan Chase's innovative financial products
  • Prepare and present business proposals, financial analyses, and portfolio reviews to senior management
  • Ensure all client interactions comply with regulatory requirements and JP Morgan Chase's risk management standards
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team goals for small business banking expansion

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial banking, business development, or relationship management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in acquiring new small business clients and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of small business financial products including loans, credit lines, and treasury services
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessment
  • Series 6 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
