Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, acquire, and onboard new small business clients in the assigned territory, targeting over 3 million nationwide small businesses
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, providing tailored financial solutions to support their growth and operational needs
  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend JP Morgan Chase products including commercial banking, lending, cash management, and payment solutions
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell opportunities and achieving quarterly acquisition and portfolio expansion targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as credit analysts, product specialists, and compliance to deliver seamless client experiences
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to position JP Morgan Chase as the preferred financial partner for small businesses
  • Prepare and present business proposals, financial analyses, and relationship reviews to clients and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, and fair lending practices
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team strategies for small business acquisition

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial banking, business development, or relationship management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in acquiring and managing small business client portfolios, with a focus on revenue growth and client retention
  • Strong understanding of small business financial products including loans, lines of credit, treasury services, and merchant processing
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed acquisition targets
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
  • Series 6 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
