Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new small business clients in the Peoria, AZ market, targeting businesses with annual revenues of $1-50 million
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with business owners, providing tailored financial solutions including loans, deposits, and payment processing
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs assessments and recommend JP Morgan Chase products to drive revenue growth and client retention
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit underwriters and product specialists, to structure and close complex deals
  • Monitor portfolio performance, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as BSA/AML
  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies, including networking events and community partnerships to expand market share
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to position JP Morgan Chase as the preferred banking partner for small businesses
  • Prepare detailed reports on acquisition metrics, pipeline status, and client feedback for senior leadership
  • Mentor junior relationship managers and contribute to team training on acquisition best practices
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and economic factors impacting small businesses in the financial services sector

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial banking, business development, or financial services sales
  • Proven track record in acquiring new small business clients and managing portfolios exceeding $50 million in revenue
  • Strong understanding of small business lending products, including SBA loans, lines of credit, and treasury management services
  • Excellent credit analysis and risk assessment skills with experience in underwriting commercial loans
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory, including Peoria, AZ and surrounding areas
  • Series 6 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
