Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, acquire, and onboard new small business clients to expand JP Morgan Chase's portfolio in the Vancouver, WA territory
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, providing tailored financial solutions to meet their needs
  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate banking products such as commercial loans, merchant services, and cash management tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams including credit analysts and product specialists to structure deals and ensure seamless client experiences
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-selling opportunities and achieving acquisition targets
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to position JP Morgan Chase as the preferred banking partner for small businesses
  • Prepare and present business proposals, financial analyses, and portfolio reviews to clients and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies in all client interactions
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team strategies for business development
  • Track and report on key performance metrics related to client acquisition and retention

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial banking, business development, or relationship management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in acquiring new small business clients and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of small business financial products including loans, credit lines, and treasury services
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
  • Series 6 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • Experience working with small businesses in the Pacific Northwest region
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
