Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deepen relationships with a portfolio of over 200 small business clients, identifying opportunities to expand financial solutions
  • Conduct regular business reviews and financial consultations to understand client needs and recommend tailored products like SBA loans and merchant services
  • Drive revenue growth by cross-selling JP Morgan Chase offerings such as cash management and investment advisory services
  • Assess creditworthiness through financial analysis and prepare loan proposals for approval
  • Collaborate with internal teams including credit analysts and product specialists to deliver seamless client experiences
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to advise clients on risk mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies in client interactions
  • Develop and execute personalized business development plans to acquire new small business clients in the Tempe area
  • Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions, opportunities, and performance metrics
  • Represent JP Morgan Chase at local networking events and industry forums to enhance brand visibility

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or financial services
  • Proven track record in deepening client relationships and driving business growth in small business banking
  • Strong understanding of financial products including loans, credit lines, and treasury services
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust with diverse clients
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk
  • Series 6 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses in the Southwest region
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, given the diverse client base in Arizona
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
