Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new small business clients by identifying their financial needs and presenting tailored solutions from JP Morgan Chase's portfolio
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with business owners, providing ongoing advisory services to support their growth
  • Conduct financial needs assessments and recommend appropriate products like business checking, merchant services, and treasury management
  • Collaborate with branch teams and internal partners to deliver seamless client experiences and resolve complex issues
  • Analyze client financial data to underwrite loans and credit facilities, ensuring compliance with JP Morgan Chase risk policies
  • Drive revenue growth through cross-selling opportunities and achieving sales targets in the Columbus market
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools and innovative solutions to enhance their operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial services, sales, or client-facing roles
  • Proven track record in business development and relationship management with small businesses
  • Strong understanding of banking products, including loans, credit lines, and deposit solutions
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and assess business creditworthiness
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the local market
  • Series 6 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in finance
  • Experience working with small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the financial sector
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages spoken in diverse communities
  • Prior experience at a major bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in banking, such as BSA/AML requirements
