Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with small business owners to understand their financial needs and recommend tailored JPMorgan Chase solutions
  • Prospect and acquire new small business clients through networking, referrals, and community events in Tempe, AZ
  • Conduct financial needs assessments and present customized banking products like business checking, loans, and merchant services
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive client retention and portfolio growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and product specialists, to facilitate seamless client onboarding
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to advise clients on optimal financial strategies
  • Achieve sales targets for deposits, loans, and other revenue-generating products
  • Provide ongoing support and education to clients on JPMorgan Chase's digital tools and fraud prevention measures
  • Represent JPMorgan Chase at local business events to enhance brand visibility
  • Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies in client interactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, sales, or client-facing roles
  • Proven track record in business development and relationship management with small businesses
  • Strong understanding of banking products, including loans, credit lines, and deposit solutions
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and assess business creditworthiness
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the local market
  • Series 6 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain within 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the financial sector
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Chase's digital banking platforms and tools
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages spoken in the Tempe, AZ community
  • Prior experience in consultative sales within a banking or fintech environment
  • MBA or advanced certification in finance or business administration
