This position requires a blend of sales acumen and consultative advising, ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as those from the FDIC and OCC. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new small business clients through networking, referrals, and community events in Tempe and surrounding areas
  • Deliver comprehensive financial advice on products such as business checking, credit lines, merchant services, and treasury management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive client retention and cross-sell opportunities
  • Collaborate with branch teams and internal partners to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to offer proactive financial strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial services, sales, or client-facing roles
  • Proven track record in business development and relationship management with small businesses
  • Strong understanding of banking products including loans, deposits, and payment solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally within the Tempe area
  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements in the financial services industry

  • Certification in financial planning or sales (e.g., CFP or similar)
