Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data monitoring frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across JP Morgan Chase's global operations
• Oversee the monitoring of key data metrics, including data lineage, metadata management, and issue resolution in alignment with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the Chief Data Office to identify data risks and implement proactive monitoring solutions
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for real-time data health monitoring, providing insights to senior leadership
• Drive continuous improvement in data governance practices, ensuring adherence to JP Morgan's data policies and industry best practices
• Manage a team of data analysts and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in data management
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of data monitoring processes to mitigate risks in financial reporting and analytics
• Partner with technology and risk management teams to integrate monitoring capabilities into JP Morgan's core banking systems
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in data management and regulatory changes, recommending enhancements to monitoring strategies
• Facilitate training and knowledge sharing on data monitoring best practices within the organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data management, data governance, or data quality monitoring within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in leading data monitoring initiatives, including the development and implementation of monitoring frameworks for large-scale data environments
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, Basel III, and CCAR, with experience ensuring compliance in banking operations
• Experience with data analytics tools and platforms used in financial institutions, including proficiency in SQL and data visualization software
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams in a high-stakes financial environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data issues to senior stakeholders at JP Morgan Chase

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Certification in data management such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or equivalent
• Prior experience working at a global investment bank like JP Morgan Chase, with exposure to Chief Data Office functions
• Knowledge of machine learning applications in data monitoring and anomaly detection
• Experience with agile methodologies in data project delivery within financial services
