Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and validation of quarterly and annual capital adequacy reports in compliance with RBI and global regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with finance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure accurate calculation of regulatory capital ratios including CET1, Tier 1, and Total Capital
  • Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess capital resilience under various economic conditions
  • Develop and maintain automated reporting tools and dashboards to enhance efficiency in capital data aggregation
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates to reporting methodologies and internal controls
  • Provide advisory support to senior management on capital optimization strategies and regulatory interpretations
  • Ensure data integrity and reconciliation across multiple source systems for capital reporting
  • Participate in internal audits and external regulatory examinations related to capital management
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing on best practices in capital reporting

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in capital reporting, regulatory compliance, or financial analysis within the banking or financial services sector
  • In-depth knowledge of Basel III/IV regulations, CRD IV, and other international capital adequacy frameworks
  • Proven experience in preparing and submitting capital reports to regulatory bodies such as the RBI, PRA, or ECB
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools relevant to capital management
  • Professional certification such as CFA, FRM, or ACCA is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams
