Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced fraud detection strategies for JPMorgan Chase's card products to minimize losses and protect customer assets
  • Analyze transaction data using statistical models and machine learning to identify emerging fraud trends and patterns
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and compliance teams to design and deploy fraud prevention rules and alerts
  • Conduct root cause analysis on fraud incidents and recommend enhancements to existing risk models
  • Monitor key performance metrics for fraud strategy effectiveness and optimize models to balance risk and customer experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fraud detection, risk management, or analytics within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling, with hands-on experience using tools like SQL, Python, or R
  • Strong understanding of payment card systems, fraud patterns, and regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS and GLBA
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights to mitigate financial risks
