Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the legal entity CCOR governance framework across JP Morgan Chase's global operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in CCOR LOB/CF/Country Coverage to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Conduct assessments and gap analyses of legal entity structures to enhance resilience and compliance
  • Provide strategic advice on legal entity modifications, including establishment, merger, or dissolution, in response to CCOR requirements
  • Oversee the documentation and reporting of governance frameworks to senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs on CCOR legal entity frameworks for relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and integrate changes into the governance framework
  • Support resolution planning and stress testing exercises related to legal entity coverage
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk appetite and control standards in all framework activities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the CCOR governance processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in legal entity governance, regulatory compliance, or risk management within the financial services industry
  • Deep knowledge of CCOR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) frameworks and legal entity structuring in a global banking context
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing governance policies for multinational financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of UK and EU regulatory requirements, including those from the PRA and FCA
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration in a large-scale organization like JP Morgan Chase
  • Professional certification such as CCEP (Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (JD, MBA) with a focus on financial law or regulatory affairs
