As a CEM Product Control Associate in Finance & Business Management, you will join a dynamic team in Sao Paulo, Brazil, supporting the control and analysis of complex financial products. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily profit and loss (P&L) validation, attribution, and reconciliation for CEM trading activities
  • Monitor and analyze trading positions, ensuring accurate booking and valuation in alignment with JPMorgan's risk management frameworks
  • Collaborate with front-office traders, middle-office risk teams, and senior management to provide timely financial insights and support decision-making
  • Identify and investigate P&L discrepancies, implementing controls to mitigate financial risks
  • Prepare and distribute management reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics for CEM products
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and accounting standards such as IFRS and local Brazilian regulations
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including accruals, reserves, and financial statement preparation
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in product control operations
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects, such as system implementations or regulatory audits, within the Finance & Business Management team
  • Maintain accurate documentation of control procedures and participate in training for junior staff

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product control, financial reporting, or a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, derivatives, and risk management principles
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with strict compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) or similar divisions at a major financial institution
  • Knowledge of Brazilian financial regulations and GAAP/IFRS standards
  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Business Administration
  • Prior exposure to product control in emerging markets or Latin America
