Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures to safeguard customer and financial data across JP Morgan Chase's global operations
• Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, including GDPR, CCPA, and banking-specific standards, through regular audits and risk assessments
• Manage data storage solutions, optimizing for security, accessibility, and cost-efficiency in cloud and on-premise environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy-by-design principles into new data management initiatives and financial products
• Monitor and respond to data protection incidents, conducting root cause analyses and implementing preventive measures
• Conduct training programs for employees on data privacy best practices and regulatory obligations
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to data encryption, access controls, and threat detection systems
• Support data governance frameworks by defining metadata standards and data lineage tracking for financial datasets
• Liaise with legal and compliance teams to prepare for regulatory filings and examinations in the financial services industry

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data management, privacy, or cybersecurity within the financial services sector
• Strong understanding of global data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and financial-specific laws like GLBA and SOX
• Proven track record in implementing data protection strategies in a large-scale enterprise environment
• Experience with data storage technologies and compliance auditing in banking or fintech organizations
• Certification in data privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in a relevant field with a focus on data governance
• Experience working in a multinational bank like JP Morgan Chase, handling sensitive financial data
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications in data privacy and anomaly detection
• Prior involvement in regulatory audits or examinations by bodies like the SEC or RBI

• Proficiency in data privacy frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, SOX)
• Expertise in data encryption, anonymization, and access management tools
• Knowledge of cloud storage platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data lakes
• Experience with data governance tools like Collibra or Informatica
