Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust business control frameworks for E-Trading, Digital Markets, and Quantitative Research (QR) teams within JP Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB)
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks associated with electronic trading platforms and digital market initiatives
  • Collaborate with front-office, technology, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations
  • Conduct regular control testing, audits, and scenario analyses to enhance risk management in QR models and algorithms
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and escalate issues related to trading systems and market data integrity
  • Support the implementation of new digital market products while ensuring control effectiveness
  • Provide training and guidance to business units on control best practices and regulatory updates
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives for business continuity management (BCM) in volatile market conditions
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on control metrics and risk exposures
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance across E-Trading and QR functions in the Buenos Aires office

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business control, risk management, or compliance within the financial services industry
  • Proven experience in electronic trading, digital markets, or quantitative research environments
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in capital markets, including those from CNV, BCRA, and international standards like Basel III
  • Experience managing control frameworks for trading systems and digital platforms
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills
  • Relevant certifications such as FRM, CFA, or CISA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Risk Management
  • Prior experience at a global investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
