Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and financial sponsors in the Nordics, providing tailored leveraged finance solutions
  • Structure, negotiate, and execute leveraged loan and high yield bond transactions, including syndication and distribution
  • Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to originate new business and pitch financing opportunities
  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support deal execution and client advisory
  • Interact with client management teams to understand financing needs and deliver strategic advice on capital raising
  • Monitor market trends in leveraged finance, including loan and bond pricing, to inform client strategies
  • Contribute to the preparation of marketing materials, pitch books, and credit memos for internal approvals
  • Support junior team members in deal processes and ensure compliance with J.P. Morgan's risk and regulatory standards
  • Participate in industry events and networking to enhance J.P. Morgan's presence in the Nordic leveraged finance market

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in leveraged finance, investment banking, or related roles within a top-tier financial institution
  • Proven track record in executing leveraged loan and high yield bond transactions in the European market, with a focus on the Nordics
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital structures, and financial modeling for leveraged transactions
  • Fluency in English and Swedish; additional Nordic languages (e.g., Danish, Norwegian) highly advantageous
  • Ability to travel within the Nordics and Europe as required for client meetings and deal execution
